Adobe Cs3 Not Activating

“Temporary Activation Expired,” error is encountered when you try to activate Creative Suite 3 and Acrobat 8 application.

The CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 and earlier activation happens automatically. It happens the moment software detects an internet connection or the software prompts you to activate it during installation. To activate your software manually, follow the steps below: Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet. Launch the application. Just to clarify, I am not looking for on going support, I am complaining about Adobe inactivating my CS3 and giving me no way of activating it. I should add, although it is not directly relevant, that a lot of the links I was sent to offered me a subscription service.

The licensing information is stored in a database file named cache.db. This error occurs when the cached licensing data from previous Adobe software installation conflict with the new installation. Removal of the data file allows a successful installation of Creative Suite 3, and Acrobat 8, without a request to activate the software.
